Metacognitive Therapy Institute will start a new Metacognitive Therapy (MCT) masterclass program in Manchester 2018.
MCT masterclass is a training program for therapists arranged by the Metacognitive Therapy Institute (TM) in Manchester/Trondheim.
MCT masterclass aims to provide state-of-the-art training for clinicians or specialists to develop a high level of competency in MCT. By completing the program you will be licensed as a MCT registered therapist (R) by MCT Institute Ltd (TM). Adrian Wells and Hans M Nordahl are responsible for the program.
MCT is an innovative system of evidence based psychotherapy, which can be used treating a whole range of disorders. It is a treatment manual for some of the specific mental disorders, such as:
- Chronic depression.
- General anxiety disorder.
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder.
- Social phobia disorder.
- Borderline personality disorder.
- Psychotic disorders.
The training will run in 2018 and 2020, and consists of eight workshops and log-supervision. All workshops will be held in Manchester, UK. Dates for the two first workshops are: 3.‒4 October and 5.‒6 December 2018. Four workshops will be held in 2019, and the last two during spring 2020.
